Bydraxi Reads Fishing Games from the Banks of the Douro

The project uses six mobile fishing games as comparison material, placing their species, locations, and mechanics beside fishing conditions in northern Portugal. Its examples move from a virtual 19 kg koi and a handheld fish finder to local size limits for boga and barbel. The site also distinguishes game conventions from real practice: a game’s red tension bar does not replace judging the reel brake and rod tip, and a mobile player still needs the appropriate inland fishing licence.
