DeJaViews is designed around user-controlled Memory sessions rather than continuous, invisible capture: Android permission starts a session, an ongoing notification marks it as active, and the user can stop it from that notification. The site says core memory and search remain local by default, with app exclusions and deletion controls. Its examples include retrieving a restaurant, phone number, dog, or camera from remembered visual context, while acknowledging that Android restrictions and content eligibility can limit capture.
