Field notes
FISL treats location discovery as a separate layer from content verification. Publishers write dev.fisl.at records to their own AT Protocol repositories, with the CID as the record key; indexers can follow the firehose or backfill repositories and retain one row per publisher and CID. The described API supports both JSON and JSONL responses, while clients remain responsible for fetching the bytes and hashing them against the requested CID.
