Girocosa organizes local reuse around a five-step handoff: a resident lists an item, another person requests it, both agree on collection details, and the exchange is confirmed. The homepage supports gifts and barter across categories including home, hobbies, bicycles, books, and gardens, while also making room for small skills such as sewing or teaching an inner-tube repair. Its current examples are marked as demonstrations, and the project describes itself as being in a trial phase.
