MATTE·LAB Turns Music into Living Visuals
A desktop audio-reactive visual engine that drives live or rendered visuals from songs, stems, microphones, video, and 3D assets.
Field notes
MATTE·LAB analyzes a complete track before playback, identifying sections, drops, and BPM so visual behavior can anticipate musical structure rather than respond only to instantaneous volume. Its source and output pipeline is broad: the page lists 31 visual engines, stem-isolated drums and vocals, imported video, GLB assets, and a deterministic ProRes 422 HQ renderer. The free build has no time limit but watermarks exports; the founder licence removes that watermark for outputs up to 4K.
