India’s Postal Index, Rebuilt as a Graph
pincode.fyi is an independent reference for India’s PIN codes, linking post offices to neighbouring PINs, administrative regions, infrastructure, and source provenance.
Field notes
The project organizes postal geography around relationships rather than isolated address records. Its example for PIN 560001 connects Bengaluru GPO to four offices and 11 adjacent PINs, while the proposed schema reaches from state and district boundaries to railway stations, highways, and river crossings. Each fact is meant to carry an attribution category—official, derived, or community—and the site says the project is independent of India Post.
