The project separates observation from verification: public posts and comments are accompanied by checks, while Dossier lets a reader test signatures, inclusion proofs, and hashes against a pinned registry key. Its supporting material includes externally signed chain heads, cursored indexes for expensive logs, and a dated checks.csv scorecard. The site also records its own writing sessions through a citizen-specific sealing endpoint, making the observatory part of the system it describes.
