The implementation model places pricing and access policy beside the existing request handler rather than requiring a separate billing workflow. Visible examples combine a $0.04 per-call price with x402 and mpp-stripe rails, subscriber and credit checks, a $20 daily spend limit, and a PostgreSQL-backed ledger.
