VibeSCAD turns part descriptions into editable OpenSCAD
An open-source CAD tool uses an LLM to write parametric OpenSCAD programs that can be rendered, inspected, edited, and exported for 3D printing.
Field notes
The project represents a part as editable OpenSCAD source, with literal assignments becoming sliders, toggles, colour choices, or other controls through annotated parameters. Its documented feedback loop includes four rendered views, geometric measurements, body-count checks, and printability figures such as overhang and thinnest wall. The example enclosure uses 26 parameters across two bodies, while exports target 3MF for coloured, multi-part printing.
