Ambiglot Makes Cross-Language Messaging a Two-Way Habit
A proposed Chrome extension that translates incoming messages into the reader’s language and outgoing replies into the other person’s language.
Field notes
The proposed workflow translates in both directions: incoming messages appear in the reader’s chosen language, while outgoing replies are rewritten into the other participant’s language before sending. The page names five destinations enabled at installation—Gmail, Telegram Web, Discord, eBay, and Airbnb—and says more can be activated individually from the toolbar. It also states that translation text is sent only at the moment translation occurs and is not retained afterward. The Chrome Web Store listing is still pending.
