Atlas citoyen: The Listening Tent
A traveling Brussels listening tent collects spoken memories, languages, and landscapes for a public civic atlas.
Field notes
Visitors receive a numbered card and choose separately whether their contribution may be recorded, heard, exhibited, or archived. The described workflow uses two verified copies of each deposited voice, while a painter in Paris may translate the account into a landscape without depicting the speaker’s face. The site also presents a future-facing kit system—nomadic collection, sovereign AI, and 360° capture—for the planned Bourges 2028 deployment and later transfers between cities.
