A browser-based calculator that helps steel and aluminium exporters estimate CBAM emissions and prepare the EU Communication Template.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-17 issue.

Field notes

The workflow asks for one year of installation, production, fuel, and purchased-material data, then applies an entered EU carbon price to produce the comparison. The page includes the Commission's screw-factory example, references EC template v2.1 and regulation default values, and says calculations stay on the user's computer. A free preview is available without sign-up, while the exact values and downloadable spreadsheet/PDF are described as a €79-and-up purchase after email unlock.
