DogEar, a Memory Map for Dog Walks

dogear.pet Observed source
Editorial interest 78/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A Korean dog-walking app where people leave paw-print records at visited places, adding notes and photos to a growing map of shared walks.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-17 issue.

Field notes

DogEar organizes walk memories around places rather than routes. A user can leave a paw-print only on site, then add a feeling and photo; repeated visits and visit counts accumulate at that location. The service says it does not record movement paths or collect background location, deletes coordinates after distance checks, and retains only the place selected by the user. Photos can be shown to other guardians viewing the same location, with Android support currently available and iOS described as in preparation.
