Glimmer places a single translation beside each Chinese input candidate, selecting from English, Japanese, or Spanish rather than turning the candidate window into a lesson. Its local system also records selected words, word sequences, and accepted typo corrections to adjust ordering. The page says unfamiliar translations appear in orange for fewer than three rounds of exposure before returning to gray, while Japanese entries receive hiragana readings.
