MoniScan scans purchase emails and receipt photos for refunds, return deadlines, price drops, expiring credits, subscription changes, warranties, trials, and possible duplicate charges.
Field notes
MoniScan accepts purchase information through selected Gmail history, receipt photographs, or a private forwarding address, then applies eight separate checks rather than one broad score. Its scan window can range from 30 days to a user-chosen start date, and its duplicate detector compares same-merchant, same-amount messages that arrive close together. The beta also states that receipt images are processed for OCR without being persisted by its API.
