Pupilla Turns the Eye Exam Into a Virtual Patient
A free interactive simulator lets optometry and ophthalmology learners practice pupils, motility, cover tests, retinoscopy, refraction, and visual fields.
Field notes
The simulator begins with either a normal exam or a selected clinical condition, then exposes controls for light reflexes, cover testing, prisms, near vision, and nine-position gaze. Its accompanying material connects cases to named examination methods, including the swinging flashlight test, Hirschberg and Krimsky testing, streak retinoscopy, and visual-field defects. The homepage also exposes Arabic versions of the guides and a symptom-oriented search path for findings such as ptosis or double vision.
