READSmart puts a teacher in the loop
A bilingual oral-reading assessment for Grades 4–6 in Philippine schools, measuring English and Filipino recordings for teacher review.

The system compares a pupil’s spoken reading with a grade- and language-matched passage, then gives a teacher the recording, transcript, and calculated fluency measures to inspect together. Its calibration account is unusually concrete: the page cites 167 recordings from 42 pupils and reports mean WCPM bias falling from -13.603 to 0.149 after calibration. The demo is explicitly limited, with audio deleted immediately and results expiring three hours after the session starts.
