A Mac helper app that streams system audio to Sonos speakers, including models that never received AirPlay 2.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-17 issue.

Field notes

RelayTune uses a small Mac helper app to discover Sonos speakers on the local network and route whole-system audio to them, rather than relying on a browser tab or the AirPlay picker. The page specifically names older hardware including Play:1, Play:3, first-generation Play:5, Connect, and Playbar. It reports a one-to-three-second delay, offers a five-day trial, and limits the €29 purchase to two Macs.
