The tool separates three routing behaviors: Direct follows the runner’s clicked order, Low stops favors routes with fewer traffic lights and avoids highways or busy roads where possible, and Avoid hills adds a preference against steep slopes. Its overlays are based on OpenStreetMap objects in the current viewport, including lights, crossings, parks, water, highways, and busy roads. The page also documents a 50-stop cap, a two-metre duplicate-click threshold, and a roughly 60-metre loop-closing range.
