SCOPE — Satellite Change Intelligence
A satellite-imagery tool that compares a named place across time and reports what changed, when it happened, and what may have caused it.
Field notes
SCOPE accepts a place name, compares optical and radar satellite passes with the same location’s seasonal history, and returns a report with timing, likely causes, imagery, and downloadable geographic data. The page describes Sentinel-2 coverage at 10 metres per pixel and uses Sentinel-1 radar when cloud blocks optical imagery. Its example Berlin scan records 29 flagged areas and 283 hectares of change; the site also reports 39 successful detections among 41 disaster sites, though those figures are presented as homepage claims.
