The desktop workflow combines a paper library with executable Python, LaTeX compilation, citation completion, and SymPy-based derivation checks. Searches can span arXiv, OpenAlex, Crossref, and other sources, while BibTeX or RIS imports populate the reference library. A separate browser notebook connects to the desktop app by QR code over local Wi-Fi, allowing handwriting, notes, and code to work alongside the computer-based project.
