tgAtlas combines a public-facing channel index with an API built around MTProto, allowing developers to search Telegram’s public directory, resolve usernames, inspect channel histories, and retrieve recommendation relationships. The page reports 5,205 indexed channels, 643 million subscribers between them, and 11,891 stored observations. Its weekly measurement layer also publishes movement signals: 60.6% of measured channels are listed as shrinking over a 14-day period.
