The observatory layers recorded neural data over an Allen atlas, using region selection, firing-rate tinting, and rotation to make the dataset inspectable. Its task demonstrations draw on mouse ZM_1897, a 42-minute session with 413 trials and two Neuropixels probes; the reported model uses 62.5-millisecond bins and ridge AR(3). The site explicitly separates those fitted simulations from the aggregate map, whose rates are session means rather than a live recording.
