A macOS menu-bar app captures a screen region, records what should change, and puts the annotated image and note on the clipboard.

For
Developers and designers handing off visual bugs
Worth noticing
Terminal pastes include the note, screenshot text, image path, and capture; clips can run for up to 30 seconds.

Field notes

The workflow uses the native macOS capture picker, then combines a marked-up PNG with a spoken note on the clipboard. The page describes separate handling for terminal workflows: Claude Code can receive the note, text read from the screenshot, and the local image path. Captures remain available in a recent list, are saved under ~/Pictures/Capipaste, and can include up to 30-second clips with annotations carried across frames.
