GroundLayers resolves an address through the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder before querying multiple federal REST services. Its environmental layers connect mapped USDA soil units and drainage classes with USGS bare-earth elevation, 30-meter NLCD land-cover categories, wetland proximity, HUC12 watershed information, FEMA flood designations, and earthquake observations within 100 kilometers.
