Field notes
The page accepts closure data produced by nix path-info, package selections, or linked inputs, then arranges paths in name order so each store path occupies a connected region. At deeper zoom levels, NARs are retrieved from cache.nixos.org or user-supplied caches, decompressed in the tab, and checked against signed hashes. Local browser storage retains fetched NARs and summaries, with a stated 2 GiB file-system limit.
