Basltion: A Humanoid Learning to Walk in Public
Credibility concern recorded. The source reference remains available for verification and correction.
A public robotics experiment that trains a Unitree G1 humanoid in MuJoCo and runs its current simulation in the browser.
- For
- Robotics builders and curious simulation watchers
- Worth noticing
- Generation 102 reports 93.0% survival after 103 published generations.
Field notes
The project separates the humanoid’s Body from a proposed Ledger: the former uses a Unitree G1 in MuJoCo, while the latter is intended to preserve generation metrics and file hashes. The page says training runs on a rented GPU and publishes a generation every few minutes. It also describes twenty-nine joint seats whose future torque budgets would follow their ranked holders, but explicitly says the ledger is not deployed and makes no claims about hardware or a real-world fleet.
