Klavax: An ImageNet for Robots, Starting in the Trades
Klavax collects consented, contact-rich footage of electricians, HVAC technicians, and other tradespeople to create training data for physical-AI and robotics models.
- For
- Robotics teams training physical manipulation models
- Worth noticing
- Exports training-ready episodes with RGB-D, IMU, 6-DoF pose, hand poses, and action labels.
Field notes
Klavax describes a custom-data workflow in which buyers specify failed manipulations or edge cases before a trade network records them on real jobs. The proposed output combines synchronized RGB-D and inertial data with world-frame 6-DoF pose, 3D hand poses, and per-segment action labels, delivered in formats including LeRobot and HDF5. Force and tactile sensing are presented as future additions, not current functionality.
