MTMTME, a shelf for the records that made you
A private music-memory shelf for collecting albums, cover art, personal notes, favorite tracks, and the age you were when a record mattered.
- For
- People keeping personal histories through music
- Worth noticing
- Notes remain as separate entries, so an album can accumulate a diary over time.
Field notes
The project imports album artwork and metadata by searching across Apple, Deezer, and MusicBrainz, then lets a user build a collection around personal annotations rather than play counts. Notes can accumulate instead of replacing one another, and individual tracks can carry their own memories. The collection is designed for three modes of return: a cover-facing shelf, a spine-based crate, and a book-like spread with the sleeve, tracklist, and writing together.
