The documented workflow separates capture from custody: a pure-Go client reads PostgreSQL through a read-only connection, compresses and encrypts locally, then writes to Object Lock storage. The same custody model is described for files and IMAP mailboxes, with restore checks asserting object counts, digests, tables, and rows. A source-available CLI and bring-your-own-bucket setup make the product legible to infrastructure teams before they commit to the hosted control plane.
