Traitor Detector Makes a Game of Telling the Truth
A one-phone social deduction game for 3–8 players that identifies hidden Traitors without ever asking who they are.
- For
- Groups playing a phone-based social deduction game
- Worth noticing
- The Detector never asks who the Traitor is; it checks answers against a truth-and-lie rule system.
Field notes
The game establishes two asymmetric rules: Faithfuls cannot lie, while Traitors cannot tell the truth. Players select roles away from the phone, then pass it around for private yes-or-no answers about the castle; the interface records whether answers are judged right or wrong and can flag interference. The page supports three to eight players, with a second Traitor available only for tables of five or more. Jesper Lassen, described as a Danish mentalist, is credited as creator.
