The location form accepts coordinate pairs in several notations and can split a pasted pair automatically; entries can carry ratings, tags, lists, notes, date windows, and route files. Route imports accept GPX, KML, KMZ, and GeoJSON, while exports include map formats and calendar .ics; the page also describes full snapshots, separate original-route downloads, and version history for dataset replacement. The interface says login and password live in api/config.php, though no credential values appear in the extract.
