Field notes
The dashboard separates the Korean Peninsula, Taiwan, and Senkaku axes, though the Taiwan series is still being built and has no current score. For the Korea axis, it averages three components; for Senkaku, it adjusts for overlapping Japanese Coast Guard counts and gives greater weight to territorial-water incursions. The methodology distinguishes a confirmed zero from missing or not-yet-calculated data, and says monthly values may remain provisional pending source verification.
