The import rules are more specific than a generic email-to-task bridge: only messages sent to the user's own address, or listed extra sender addresses, qualify. A subject beginning “Idea:” can add an Idea tag, and attached files become task files. Repeats are matched against open tasks by word overlap, ignoring reply markers and punctuation; the page says the import is read-only and does not alter mail.
