Field notes
The map compares future climate estimates with 1991–2020 conditions, using 15 km grid cells across the United States, Canada, and Mexico and roughly 55 km cells for global land comparisons. Its default uses 15 of 24 CMIP6 models; readers can include the other nine through an advanced setting. The page defines sigma thresholds for interpreting matches and says requested places are added by hand, usually with the next data update.
