CueLatch: cues and prop-phone screens for the sound cart
CueLatch presents a production tool for ordering and playing audio cues and remotely triggering calls, messages, and other screen action on an Android prop phone.
- For
- Production sound teams staging phone-screen action
- Worth noticing
- The page says the operator can exit the prop handset by pressing its top-right corner four times.
Field notes
The page separates the audio and prop-screen workflows, with ordered cue buttons for repeatable playback and a controller view of the handset screen. It says the tool is running alongside a professional Sound Devices Scorpio-based cart, while explicitly describing CueLatch as a focused companion rather than a replacement for the wider production sound workflow. Wider release is not presented as available now: the stated status is private testing with a small group of production professionals.
