Editorial interest 78/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A site for audio plugins built around heavy music, with four free downloads available now and two more plugins in testing.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-03 issue.

For: Heavy-music producers and mixing engineers
Worth noticing: NuEQ, NuComp, NuGate, and NuSat are offered without an email or account; listed formats include AU and VST3.

Field notes

The Nu series is listed for macOS and Windows, with AU support on macOS and VST3 on both platforms. The mix notes use concrete examples, including a 160 Hz buildup in palm-muted guitar and reported punch changes from compression. Vantage and Ashfall remain in testing, so their described functions are plans rather than available capabilities.
