FeeFence: a calculator for the hours hiding in website quotes
A free, no-sign-up calculator estimates freelance website quotes from project hours, target earnings, expenses, and fees; an optional £19 kit adds spreadsheets and client-work templates.
- For
- Freelance web designers quoting client projects
- Worth noticing
- The free calculator keeps figures in the browser and states that currency selection changes labels, not exchange rates.
Field notes
The quote estimate separates target earnings from direct expenses, contingency, and collection fees, then presents the result before sales tax. For post-project review, another calculator compares the agreed fee with direct costs, payment fees, original hours, and unpaid extra hours. The paid workbook requires desktop spreadsheet software; the site says it has no macros and that Google Sheets compatibility has not been verified.
