PRKS is an iPhone app in development intended to turn a theme-park visit into a record of rides, estimated waits, walks, and a map.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-03 issue.

For: Theme-park enthusiasts who revisit their park days
Worth noticing: Its GPS walking test labels the trail as corrected, leaves gaps visible, and explicitly says it is not a theme-park ride test.

Field notes

The site separates an actual Crocker Park walking test from a synthetic Cedar Point example, making clear which material comes from a real recorded trail and which is generated. Its privacy notice says precise background location is uploaded for processing, while joining the waitlist asks for email rather than location. Beta invitations are optional and do not guarantee a place.
