Field notes
Whole-number conversions use a repeated-division table, while fractions use repeated multiplication; a separate positional-weights table shows each input digit’s contribution. The page sets the fraction-digit limit to 64 by default, permits up to 1024, and says an unfinished expansion is cut with an ellipsis rather than rounded. A regrouping view appears when both bases are powers of two.
