Field notes
The interface distinguishes between re-encoding a video and changing its orientation data, noting that the latter is faster and lossless when supported but may be ignored by some players. The page sets a 500 MB file limit and warns that smaller files can still exceed browser memory or codec support. Its optional detector checks photos or sampled video frames for quarter-turn corrections; it is not a stabilization tool.
