Beachmod provides connection instructions and an optional patch for playing Battlefield 1943 online on PS3 or RPCS3.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-06 issue.

For: Battlefield 1943 players on PS3 or RPCS3
Worth noticing: The instructions distinguish PS3 DNS setup from RPCS3 host overrides and give separate European and North American patch IDs.

Field notes

Players can connect without installing the mod: the page gives a PS3 primary-DNS address and separate RPCS3 RPCN/IP-host settings. The optional patch is presented as a region-specific download for Europe (NPEB00092) or North America (NPUB30077), with original game files required and explicitly not included. The page also lists a server browser, game hosting, dedicated-server mode, and gameplay settings.
