Field notes

On a new board, the installer writes the app, web page, and full face gallery; the page warns that this erases anything already stored on the board. An update instead installs the latest app while retaining Wi-Fi, settings, and installed faces, and a watch already on Wi-Fi can also receive firmware through its own System page.
