Tiny Skies turns city weather into miniature worlds
A forthcoming iPhone and iPad app that presents local forecasts as isometric city dioramas, with animated weather and Home Screen widgets.
- For
- iPhone users who like visual weather views
- Worth noticing
- The page describes cities as shared scenes: when someone draws a city's weather, followers of that city receive the scene too.
Field notes
A city can be drawn once and then shared with people who follow it; Plus members are described as able to make private redraws, while free explorers can found cities. The proposed app pairs current conditions, hourly details, and a seven-day forecast with animated weather, day-to-night lighting, and optional phone-tilt viewing. The App Store release is still marked “Coming soon,” so these functions are presented as planned product behavior rather than testable access.
