Editorial interest 78/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A browser-based tool that turns Gemini Gem instructions into a SKILL.md file and checks existing files for format and folder-name issues.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-07 issue.

For: Gemini users preparing to migrate custom Gems
Worth noticing: The validator asks for the folder name as well as SKILL.md content, to catch a name-folder mismatch that the site says can stop a skill from triggering.

Field notes

The page separates conversion from validation: users can paste Gem instructions to generate a file, or check an existing SKILL.md alongside its directory name. It says these checks happen locally in JavaScript. Its migration notes distinguish what the page says is preserved from features it says do not transfer, and flag knowledge files for re-upload.
