Flag Fox describes a sensor-and-phone system that alerts ice anglers when a tip-up flag trips, without cell service.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-07 issue.

For: Ice anglers monitoring several tip-ups
Worth noticing: The page specifies adjustable flag-angle thresholds, per-sensor battery and signal checks, and alerts shared with up to four phones.

Field notes

The described setup pairs sensors with named holes in the app, then connects phones to a base-generated Wi-Fi network on the ice. The page says the app can show flag angle and elapsed time, while sensor check-ins can surface a low battery or lost signal. It also describes a Watch mode that keeps the app open for alerts, with up to four phones connected at once. The site invites beta signups but does not show pricing or confirm product availability.
