Iron Latitudes’ Ship’s Log
A development blog for Iron Latitudes, a co-op pirate RPG, documenting what its small studio is making, breaking, and learning.
- For
- Players following indie game development
- Worth noticing
- The October 6 entry says five weeks went into rebuilding the cast from the skeleton out and teaching one enemy to fight.
Field notes
The archive lists seven Ship’s Log entries dated July 17–October 6, 2026, moving from the studio’s idea of a “world that remembers” to character, port, and combat work. Earlier posts record a graphics card crashing three times, a mining action that did nothing in-game, and a decision to delete a home-built combat system in favor of an existing solution. A separate world update says ten people and ten ships are listed, while ship timelines and deeper details are intentionally absent.
