- For
- People preparing passport or visa photos at home
- Worth noticing
- For UK passports, it gives a 35 × 45 mm frame and specifies a 29–34 mm head-height range.
Field notes
For the UK option, the page lists an 827 × 1063 px JPG and says the file should be at least 600 × 750 px and between 50 KB and 10 MB. Its print sheet is specified at 1800 × 1200 px and 300 dpi, with instructions to print at full size rather than fit to page. The tool warns that lightening adjusts pale backgrounds but will not remove a busy one, and points users to official rules.
