makeqr.fyi: QR codes for links, Wi-Fi—and taking attendance
A free QR-code maker for nine kinds of information, with styling and image exports, plus a group attendance room.
- For
- People making QR codes for events and everyday sharing
- Worth noticing
- The attendance-room flow lets participants scan a shared QR and appear in attendance order; the page recommends codes at least 2 cm wide for printing.
Field notes
The page offers nine QR payload types, from URLs and Wi-Fi credentials to vCards, calendar events, and map locations; it describes live previews and exports as PNG, SVG, JPG, copied image, or print/PDF. Its attendance-room flow asks for a group name and organizer name, then says participants can scan, enter names, and appear in attendance order, with optional introductions and contact links visible to room members. The site says generation happens in-browser and submitted content is not sent to its server.
