An iPhone app in development that measures family members’ heights and tracks children’s growth.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-09 issue.

For: Families keeping track of children’s growth
Worth noticing: Live measuring requires an iPhone Pro or Pro Max with LiDAR; other iPhones can record heights entered manually.

Field notes

The site distinguishes live LiDAR measurement from manual entry: the former requires an iPhone Pro or Pro Max, while the latter is described as available on any iPhone. Its examples show coaching prompts for positioning and lighting, plus a confidence range for each measurement. The page says users can set reminders per person and export measurements as CSV; it also describes growth estimates as estimates, not promises.
